News21 is a national student investigative reporting project funded by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, The Carnegie Corporation of New York and other foundations. The newsroom is headquartered at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. News21 journalism appears annually in media outlets around the United States. 29 fellows from 16 journalism schools and an experienced staff of editors are reporting on gun rights and regulation for News21’s fifth national investigation.
